Izumi Kobayashi first gained recognition as the leader of the Flying Mimi Band before embarking on her solo career. As a solo artist, Kobayashi, began to standout in her keyboard performances with the Masayoshi Takanaka Band and her contributions to the "Urusei Yatsura" anime soundtrack, is reissuing her funky and tropical solo debut album from 1981 on LP!
