Description
Pleasures’ latest full length Softly Wait shows just how much the Seattle garage-yacht-pop band’s songwriting has matured. Retaining the sunny garage rock energy of their previous releases but trading the heavy guitars for swirling synths, tight syncopated percussion, and whip-smart vocal lines, Softly Wait represents an unexpected but enticing left-turn for songwriters Aron Pollard and George Miller, who teamed up with producer/drummer River Nason and saxophonist Adrienne Kerr to lay down these eight tracks in late 2018.
Pleasures has toured the US and Canada many times and has shared the stage with Car Seat Headrest, Walter TV, Mommy Long Legs, Frankie and the Witch Fingers, Do Normaal, Jo Passed, and many more.
