Description
Takahashi Chikuzan's soulful masterpiece 'TSUGARU SHAMISEN' makes its vinyl record debut after half a century. Takahashi Chikuzan, a legendary and esteemed Japanese Tsugaru Shamisen performer and composer, served as an inspiration for 'Fusetsu Nagare Tabi,' a representative song by Kitajima Saburou. His complete 'TSUGARU SHAMISEN' album, originally released in July 1973, has been reissued on vinyl for the first time in 50 years, alongside a 2023 remaster. His 1986 series of ten concerts across seven United States cities garnered praise from The New York Times, elevating the global recognition of Tsugaru Shamisen. As an undisputed authority in Tsugaru Shamisen performance, his music continues to touch the hearts of music enthusiasts of all ages, both domestic and international, even 25 years after his passing.
