Seiko Matsuda, who debuted as an idol in 1980 and remains a top artist, celebrates her 45th anniversary in 2025. The album “Seiko My Love,” set for release on May 14 as a vinyl edition, features a collection of songs written by Yoshiko Miura, a female lyricist who penned early hits for Matsuda, such as her debut song "Hadashi no Kisetsu" from 45 years ago, as well as "Aoi Sangoshou," "Kaze wa Akairo," "Cherry Blossom," and "Natsu no Tobira." The album includes 20 carefully selected tracks, ranging from popular singles to rare B-sides like "RAINBOW ~Rokugatsu Umare" and "Sukoshizutsu Haru," as well as album tracks such as "Only My Love" and "SQUALL." The vinyl is a special original pink color created for this release, making it a must-have collector's item.
