Description

The eerie audio heard on this record comes from two of many old tapes found beneath the floorboards of a long-abandoned barn, just outside the town of Underwood in rural, Western Ohio. These specific tapes would seem to be from 1966 and 1967, but the recordings might predate that. This album is a follow-up to our original “Sinister Sounds of Halloween Horror”, released in 2023, which consisted solely of the 1965 “Scary Sounds” tape. There are still many more tapes from this trove of spooky sound treasures that will be released in the years to come.
