"5 Centimeters Per Second" is an animated feature film by Makoto Shinkai, one of Japan's leading animation directors who has produced record-breaking hits such as "Your Name," "Weathering With You," and "Suzume." A live-action film based on "5 Centimeters Per Second" is scheduled to be released on Saturday, October 10th, 2025. The original soundtrack, composed by the acclaimed musician Ayatake Ezaki, is being released on vinyl record.
