New York based Jazz singer Helen Merrill moved to Europe after her London debut concert in 1959. As she is living in Italy for 4 years, Helen also performed Japan in 1960 and 1963. She was interested in the folk songs around the world. This album is her only Mainstream Record album but very unique album, sung Brazilian music, Italian old song, also Japanese with Charlie Byrd, Jimmy Giuffre, Hal McKusick. Helen reached the climax of her career with this album!
