Formed in 1985 by three of Japan’s leading musicians Hiroyuki Namba, Eiji Kawamura, and Toshiro Imaizumi ATLAS was a supergroup that left a lasting mark on the Japanese music scene. Following their debut album Halley's Comet (1985) and EXCURSION (1986), their third album BREEZE, released in 1987, gained international acclaim.
Now, nearly 40 years after its original release, BREEZE is being reissued as a special colored vinyl edition, riding the wave of renewed global interest in 1980s city pop. This album features 10 exquisite tracks that blend fusion, tropical vibes, new age, and electric boogie, showcasing the sophisticated sound of ATLAS.
The artwork faithfully reproduces the original release, while the colored vinyl adds a fresh and collectible touch to this highly anticipated reissue.
