Rika Kayama, a psychiatrist at the Hobetsu Medical Clinic in Mukawa-cho, Hokkaido, supervised and produced the music for this masterpiece, which is the gold standard of Japanese ambient techno from the 1990s, and has now miraculously been officially reissued on analog vinyl!
The main composer/arranger is Masayuki Sakamoto, a renowned producer, arranger, and keyboard player who is also known for his album “PSYCHE” ('87). He was also featured on NHK's music program “Sound Street” in a special feature on demo tapes introduced by Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Rika Kayama herself also teamed up with her brother Keigai Nakatsuka, a musician/dentist, to compose the music.
This is the first official reissue of a work that fills a missing piece of 90s Japanese techno, and was also praised by Yukihiro Takahashi of YMO, who wrote the liner notes at the time, while also being extremely good as euphoric classic Japanese house that will stick with fans of Soichi Terada and Shinichiro Yokota!
