Bop Alloy is a unit formed by legendary MC Substantial—widely known for his numerous collaborations with Nujabes—and producer/beatmaker Marcus D, who has released a wealth of acclaimed works. Their long-anticipated third album, Masters of the Artistry, has now been completed.
Created through nearly two years of refinement, experimentation, and dedication, this album presents a fully matured Bop Alloy sound. Soulful production merges seamlessly with high-level lyricism, resulting in a release that stands as a defining statement of Jazz Hip Hop.
The album features an impressive lineup of guest artists including Blu, Uyama Hiroto, One Be Lo, and more. In addition, the artwork—an original hand-drawn manga-style illustration by Syuhei Matsuyama—adds a striking visual presence that perfectly complements the music.
