Khu.éex’ (prounced koo-eex) has released their collaborative music on triple vinyl, titled “They Forgot They Survived”. This second album by Khu.éex’ features a specially designed etched side by artist Preston Singletary.

Khu.éex’ features a unique mix of spoken word, native storytelling, and singing, performed with an experimental approach with rock/funk aspects. The band also performs in traditional regalia and northwest coast masks.

Bernie Worrell – Keyboards – (Cherokee) Worrell has played with countless musicians over the years, but most notably as the founding member of the legendary Parliament-Funkadelic, in addition to releasing several solo records.

Preston Singletary – Bass – (Tlingit) A noted glass artist based in Seattle, WA. His works have become synonymous with the relationship between European glass blowing traditions and Northwest Native art.

Skerik – Saxophone – An avant-garde sax player who plays in notable projects including Critters Buggin, and Garage a Trois.

Stanton Moore – Drums – Moore has played with a wide variety of musicians, and is noted as the founding member of Galactic.

Captain Raab – Guitar – (Blackfoot) Raab has played in the band Red Earth, an Albuquerque based Native Funk/Rock band.

Featuring: Tlingit artists Clarissa Rizal, Gene Tagaban and Nahaan on vocals, Om Johari, Nahaan, and Indrayani Ananda.
