Combines the band’s 1986 debut LP and first EP with three bonus tracks. Initially hailing from Whangarei, one of New Zealand’s northernmost cities, the Able Tasmans where far from the Flying Nun epicenter of Dunedin. However, this never hindered their involvement, releasing four albums and two EP’s with the label. The band were avid explorers limited only by their imagination. Their songwriting and arrangements crossed lines between baroque and indie pop, integrating field recordings and bringing keyboards to the forefront.
