If you hadn’t heard, and you have you probably just forgot, The Black Angels and psych-legend Roky Erickson (of The 13th Floor Elevators) are touring together.  Here’s the rub though: not only will The Black Angels open for Senor Erickson, they’ll also take the stage as his back-up band as he blasts through a retrospective from his illustrious past.  This, will, be, amazing.

The tour begins tonight in Seattle, shoots down to P-Town, and then beyond and below to LA and SF.  Four dates, that’s all the chance you got to see two generations of psych-masters come together. A truly rare opportunity.
